I'm an amateur singer, songwriter and bass player from Halifax, Nova Scotia.  I played bass and sang backing vocals in cover bands when I was in my 20s and 30s (Loud Silenz, Solace, Blindside.  Circa 1990-2005).  I had a whole lot of fun doing that and learned a lot from all those friends and musicians.  Since then in my downtime I've dabbled with more songwriting, sang on some excellent songs for a few musician friends, did some children's writing and dug into learning to play many different instruments (at what I'd consider a life-long beginner level).

After rounding 50 I decided to start up my own personal bucket list.  

-Finish some of those old songs and stories, 35 years of them.

-Write some new ones.

-Record more.

-Collaborate with other singer/songwriters possibly.

-Have an established or up and comer singer record one of my tunes, or try to get something licensed (I know, that's a tough one, but I'm leaving it on my list). 

-Improve my bass playing cuz it's so darn fun.

-Create a website to hold all my creative musical endeavours. 

Lofty goals, and there's not nearly enough downtime really, but you gotta start somewhere.
